Dr. Kamila A. Alexander, PhD, MPH, RN, Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, will share insights from her research focused on addressing sexual and reproductive health inequities experienced by Black girls and women. Her talk will explore how justice and health equity frameworks can guide survivor-centered approaches, using primary data from three Maryland-based studies. Dr. Alexander will discuss strategies that promote resilience and well-being in the face of interpersonal, community, and structural violence.
