With CFAR support, the Threads Research Lab (PI: Dr. Kamila A. Alexander) and M.O.C.H.A. Lab (PI: Dr. Tiara C. Willie) came together for our first ever JHU CFAR Black Women-led HIV Research Think Tank on February 24, 2023. Our goal is to create a collaborative space for Black women scientists involved in HIV research and to strengthen the scientific trajectories of Black women researchers and trainees conducting HIV research within the JHU milieu. During the Think Tank, we had various networking, relationship-building professional development, and focused writing opportunities. We also debriefed on what went well and rooms for improvement for future Think Tanks.
